Introducing the LWD EB012 Sawncut European Oak Wood Flooring with Chemical Reactive Color—a masterpiece of artisanal craftsmanship that merges raw, organic texture with innovative color technology. Crafted from sustainably sourced European oak, each plank features a sawncut surface that preserves the natural wood grain’s rugged authenticity, while a proprietary chemical reactive treatment creates dynamic, one-of-a-kind color variations. This flooring transforms spaces into visual narratives, ideal for design-forward residential and commercial environments that demand both character and durability.
Sawncut Texture & Chemical Reactive Color
Rustic Sawncut Finish: A 3mm deep sawn texture replicates the authentic look of reclaimed timber, with uneven grooves that highlight the oak’s natural grain and knots, adding tactile depth to every plank.
Dynamic Color Evolution: A blend of natural alkali agents reacts with the oak’s tannins to produce unique color gradients—from warm amber streaks to cool grey veining—ensuring no two planks are identical and the finish matures gracefully over time.
Engineered for Stability & Longevity
Cross-Ply Birch Core: 14mm total thickness (4mm oak veneer + 10mm multi-layer core) reduces expansion by 50% compared to solid wood, performing flawlessly in humidity ranges from 30-70%.
UV-Resistant Oil Finish: A penetrating linseed oil coating protects the reactive color from fading while allowing the wood to breathe, with a low-gloss finish that enhances the sawn texture’s natural beauty.
Sustainable & Safe Materials
FSC-Certified Oak: Sourced from managed European forests, ensuring minimal environmental impact and traceable provenance.
Low VOC Emissions: Uses water-based reactive agents and formaldehyde-free adhesives, meeting GREENGUARD Gold certification for indoor air quality safety.
Design Flexibility
Customizable Color Intensity: Choose from "Subtle" (soft, natural tones) or "Bold" (high-contrast color variations) reactive treatments to match project aesthetics.
Standard & Custom Sizes: Available in 150mm width x 1.8m length, with custom widths up to 200mm for bespoke installations in luxury homes or boutique commercial spaces.
Residential Statement Floors: Perfect for loft apartments, farmhouses, and modern homes with industrial accents, where the sawncut texture and reactive color create a focal point in living rooms, dining areas, or home offices.
Commercial Design Projects: Ideal for art galleries, craft breweries, and vintage-inspired retail stores, enhancing the space with a blend of rustic charm and contemporary sophistication.
Hospitality with Character: Suited for boutique hotels, bed-and-breakfasts, and wine tasting rooms, where the unique color variations and tactile surface evoke a sense of authenticity and warmth.
Q: How does the chemical reactive treatment affect maintenance?
A: The oil finish requires periodic resealing every 3-5 years to protect the reactive color; avoid harsh chemicals to preserve the natural patina.
Q: Can this flooring be installed in high-moisture areas?
A: Limited use in bathrooms or kitchens is possible with proper waterproof underlayment; direct water exposure should be avoided to protect the sawn texture.
Q: Does the sawncut surface collect dust?
A: The grooves can trap minor debris, but regular vacuuming with a brush attachment or occasional damp mopping keeps the floor clean without damaging the finish.

Strict QC System
Under the control of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO14025, from material to the final product, each piece is processed through required working procedures and each procedure is controlled strictly by certain producing data. Especially for the procedures of kiln dry skills, environmental climates and piece checking, which promise our floor with a stable and high quality.
1. Piece by piece check
MC(Moisture content) check. Before the KD board go into the T&G(Tongue and Groove) processing workshop, we will classify the KD boards according to the different MC level. This procedure promises all the classified KD boards is at the same MC level. At the same time, the two faces and four sides will be checked. Any defects board will be put away.
2. Twist surface check
Before T&G processing, the workers will check the surface and put away the defects board.
3. Thickness surface check after T&G
Processing defect check at the same time, classify the T&G board according to the natural color variation. Make the color in most uniform.
Sanding check before UV coating. Check the surface and thickness.
UV product line check, put away the defect UV coating product.
Final product color classified secondly. Make the final packed products color in most uniform .
Advanced kiln dry skills-key factor of final floor with a stable condition.
4. Expericed kiln dry skills
Drying the AD board according to the different places climate requirement. Making the MC more close to the local climate requirement.
Drying the AD board according to the different species. Different species need different way (such as; time, temperature , Moisture etc.) to dry.
Before further processing, the dried boards just after taking out from the kiln need a stress-relief period. Different species need different stress-relief time. Then the AD board turned into KD board. The stress-relief period is very important for the stability of the floor.
5. Test and record at QC center
We select the final products randomly form UV coating line for testing the impact resistance, wear resistance, hardness of surface, adhesion, scratch resistance, MC and dimensions. And then, we make a record for all the testing. If any item can’t meet the requirement, we will immediately inform certain workshop to improve.
